I’m a regular playing bars, festivals and farmers’ markets around the Philly suburbs, and though I play acoustic rock, that doesn’t mean every song I play, original or cover, was originally acoustic. My playlist spans a little of everything that’s influenced me over the years — some songs are mellow, for sure, but a lot of them rock! Starting with the British Invasion and classic rock from the ‘70s, I throw in generous doses of pop, rock and alternative music from the ‘80s, ‘90s and beyond. And whenever I hear something new that catches my ear, it’s sure to find its way into my music.
In any given set, you might hear The Beatles, REM, John Mellencamp, Harry Styles, The Decemberists, Grateful Dead, Duran Duran, Tom Petty, Bare Naked Ladies, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, Gin Blossoms, and much more.
My goal to bring out the energy and fun whenever I play. There’s a lot of music you might not expect to hear from one guy and his acoustic guitar. I am determined to change your expectations!
I’ve joked that I want to play everything “from ABBA to Zappa.” I’m still working on ABBA, but most of the rest of the alphabet of rock ‘n’ roll is somewhere in my setlist!
